I need to know the woofer/midrange crossover point for the M80Ti's. I am going to attempt to bi-amp with SET amplification (30WPC) for the mids & highs and solid state for the woofers. I have some heathkit tube crossover units and am excited to experiment.
The SET amp sounds excellent with the M80's but it occasionally asks for more power then the 30 WPC they offer.
Thanks in advance.

After some further diving into the archives I believe I found it:
The M80ti is 160Hz & 2.3Khz.

The midranges really handle 160hz to 2300hz?

That's WEIRD.
A lot of speakers hand off the to midrange around 400. 350, lowest. I've never seen a midrange that handled a lot of the upper bass before...

After testing the M22s with my M50s, I can attest that a pair of 5.25" drivers from Axiom are quite capable of handling upper bass.
