 Anyone have the Energy S 8.2 Subwoofer?

I bought one on ebay for $150 (6mo old)and was wondering if anyone here owns one or has heard anything about it. I needed a cheap yet quality sub to give my M3ti's some oomph. I read somewhere that they are very very good with music but not so great w movies,etc. Would have loved to get the Hsu stf-2 sub but am already "way" over budget.Just to think I planned on spending only 700-800 dollars on my whole setup yet I'm already out $1500 and still not finished! Thanks for your replies....SCG

I had the earlier Energy S8, IMHO it was fair with HT but horrible with music . . . way too boomy! Maybe they've improved the sound in the 8.2, but I can't comment on that either way.
