 Need info on Merak MT-150

I was told that Axiom audio also makes the Merak line. If this was bad information I'm sorry. Anyway, could someone give me the detailed specs on these speakers and maybe some opinions. I will use them in an HT but timbre match is not important because I will be using them for stereo music much more than 5.1 movies. Also, with the 15 inch woofer will I even need a subwoofer?
