HI guys,
I just received my M3ti and I placed it next to my computer monitor. I noticed there is a slight color change in my monitor. I thought this speaker is magnetically shielded. Why is it causing this problem?
Thanks for any input.

Hi savage10,
The M3ti is magnetically shielded, but not to the same degree that the Axiom center-channel speakers are (which are intended to sit right on top or beneath a TV monitor).
We still advise buyers not to place their bookshelf speakers directly next to the TV or computer monitor. In most cases, you won't see any effects, but every CRT monitor is different. Some are more sensitive to residual stray magnetic fields than others. Large-screen 36-inch and 40-inch CRT sets tend to be more vulnerable than smaller screens, and in your case the computer monitor is quite sensitive.
I have M22ti's that cause no problem at all when I use one as a center channel laid horizontally on top my TV. Nor do the big Axiom M80s even when they're quite close to the set.
But an older pair of big unshielded Mirage bipolar slabs cause interference from 2 feet away!
Just move your M3ti's about six inches away from your computer monitor and you shouldn't have any trouble.
