Has anybody seen this projector? I took a look at it this weekend and was impressed. More impressive is its $1499 MSRP.
For the money, can this projector be beat? I thought it was better than the Infocus 4805, but those are the only two I have seen so far near that price range.

Thats what I currently have. Its does really well. Its was better than my old X1. Only issue is the QC...so hopefully you get one that is working fine...like I did.
Personaly picture quality and color saturation can't be beat up to $5000. You would need to get a PJ with the new DLP Mustang2 chip to kick its butt. Its a 4X 2 segment color wheel...no rainbows, no headache just great contrast and boy is it bright.
check my links.

have you seen the Sanyo z2 or the Panasonic PT-L500? Unless your already sold on DLP. I have the Pany, and projected onto an 11 foot wide painted on the wall screen. I sit 14-15 feet back and suffer absolutey no screen door affect. Every time I watch a movie -- I cannot believe this thing was under 2k.
Be interested in hearing about your decision and how it works out for you.
