I got some at a yard sale and am comparing them to M3s. The M3s are definitely clearer - but the AC600s do pretty well for a speaker so old they are not even in the archive section of the pinnacle website.

6 1/2" fiber-cone woofer with rubber surround

A friend of mine has Pinnacles - indoor and outdoor (not sure what models) - and they sound pretty good. I haven't really put them through their paces, per se, but I've listened to music over there many times they don't seem to lack anything.
