QS-4 Placement

I am using 3 Qs-4's in my 6.1 HT setup, however due to the configuration of my room I am basically forced to mount the surround speakers on the wall next to the preferred seating area, rather than behind it. The rear center is mounted on the rear wall approximately 4-5 feet directly behind the seating area. Will the placement of the left and right surround speakers next to the seating area cause a problem?
Thanks in advance for your input.

No, in fact it may be desirable. It is a compromise position between where you would put the side and rear channels in 7.1 and the third channel being behind will give you added effects from the rear. The dispersion of the QS4s will not give you a point source right beside you, which would be the normal concern with this placement.
