BEDFORD, New York (AP) -- Christopher Reeve, the star of the "Superman" movies whose near-fatal riding accident nine years ago turned him into a worldwide advocate for spinal cord research, died Sunday of heart failure, his publicist said. He was 52.

The ultimate "chick flick." I liked it, and him, very much.

yes that was a good flick
oh-
so was Heaven can Wait
weird that his two other "know" (not everyone even knows them)
1 was about transcending time
the other transcending death
pretty prophetic

I believe the Heaven Can Wait actor was Warren Beatty, unless I missed the Christopher Reeve incarnation.

Your right littleb, Warren Beatty was the actor in "Heavan Can Wait" which was a great movie. Superman was not in that movie...

Hi,
Just a side note on a little-known thriller, "Deathtrap," with Christopher Reeve and Michael Caine, based on Ira Levin's broadway play (Levin wrote Rosemary's Baby). It's a really clever and witty thriller, with fine acting from everyone, including Reeve.
Naturally, everyone associates Reeve with the Superman movies, but he was good in some other films as well.

Definitely a big fan of Somewhere in Time.....Could be partyly because Jane Seymour was so beautiful in it....but it was still a great concept w/ good acting. I have it on tape.
Deathtrap - another good flick. It used to be on HBO a lot when I was growing up, so I saw it a bunch of times.
