 Denon 3805 vs 3803

My friend previously owned a 3803 and is now the owner of a 3805. He said that the DSPs (Digital Signal Processing) sounds better, that there's more claity, but he said it's not as warm sounding as his 3803. Has anyone else had a change to try out either of these receivers to know if that holds true?

I have a 3805 which I'm very happy with, but I'm not really sure how it compares to the 3803. There was a thread on the Audioholics BBS about it not long ago, though:
