If anyone's interested to see the latest trailer for the final installment from Lucas, here you go.

http://www.worldofepic.net/ep3.mov

Let's just hope that the movie is as bad-a$$ as the trailer is.

If not, I'm just going to buy the trailer on DVD and call it a day.

I think they're over-capitalizing on the warm-fuzzy nostalgia of Alec Guinness in the trailer. But that's just, like, my opinion.

I had heard the trailer was going to come out along with the release of the new movie "The Incredibles" in theatres near you...

Every bone in my body hopes that that doesn't suck as much as it's going to. The preview looks frickin' amazing. Of course, so did the Ep. 1 preview.

I'm still going to see it in the theater and buy it on DVD. Mostly I want to see HC cut into pieces (since I won't get to see jarjar chopped up).

I have to agree the trailer is awesome... but so far Lucas has two strikes against him in the form of Episode 1 & 2.

I stole my parents copy of the new DVD remakes of the org 3, wow those are seriously amazing movies. I don't think anything in the movie industry makes me more upset than how bad the prequels have been.

Didn't think the trailer was that good, and not expecting much out of the movie either, but I'm still looking forward to seeing it and I'll probably end up liking it. I was ok with the first one, but didn't like the second much until the last 45 minutes or so of it.

My 6yr old loves all of them, 1,2,...4,5,6. It is funny watching movies that I watched in the 70's and 80's with my son. He actually catches stuff I never thought of...

Personally 4,5,6 are hard to beat, and 1,2 are also desent, especially on a 120" diag. screen

I'm sure 3 will be just fine....

OK, I LOVE Star Wars, especially the original trilogy. I saw the trailer at the theatre yesterday before the Incredibles (very good BTW).

How come people like it so much? It's just Obi Wan's dialogue w/ short flashes of new scenes. Sure, it gets you pumped for the next movie, but I didn't see anything "amazing". Though I did find it interesting that Darth's costume still looks retro. I'm glad they didn't "update" it w/ the new technology.

What can I say, there's a reason why my tag is "oldskoolboarder".

I noticed all the old scenes... half of the preview was old scenes!

I just thought the two ships fighting was a really cool looking snippet...

I saw The Incredibles on Saturday (loved it!), but the SWIII trailer wasn't at the head of it. What's the deal?

Personally, I think it's mostly the rev-up factor. When you hear the audio of darth vader speaking to the emporor, it gives you that same chill and excitement that you had many years ago as a child. This if further fueled by the anticipation of finally understanding how Annekin becomes Darth Vader.

Good Stuff!!!!.....and a clan of Cheweys to boot.

Yeah, but you have to admit, "Lord Vader...." "Riiiise" is kind of silly sounding. It's really cool that they got James Earl Jones back, though.

tried the link, but doesn't work for the trailer, just some website that seems to be down for the count.

You're merciless. I'm not encouraging it, mind you, but it is entertaining.

fyi...MiniRock, no jabs at you have been made here...only jabs at the last two Star Wars movies. The laughter I think is over the fact that you didn't get that. All in good fun. Glad to have you here on the boards.
