Nothing really of intrest, just a pic of my setup

Proud of my m22's that's for sure.
The Amps an Integra 5.3 and the record player and CD player are inconsequential.
The two albums which seem to sound the most improved to me are:
Bele Fleck "Three Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest"
and Al DiMeola, John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucia "Friday Night in San Fransisco"
Me thinks I'll be purchasing the HSU STF-2 soon, I'd love to get an Axiom sub but their prices, sub wise, seem much less the deal than their mains. Any thoughts?

Welcome babalu. Can't get the picture to work. I type it in and it says "file not found". If you are looking for an stf-2, compusa was/is clearing them out for 200 new in box. The demo units were going for 150 and up. I've had mine for a week and I'm very happy I made this choice. I've never listened to an axiom sub so I'm unable to say which is better for you. When did you purchase your m22's? Could you tell us the size of your room so that others can recommend a sub for your space?

Hopefully this'll work, stupid free webservice not allowing picture linking....
Anyway my room's small, about 12' by 14', but with 11' ceiling.
It's in a basment, my floor is wood but it's down (almost) directly onto the concrete floor so I'm wondering if that somehow might kill the downward firing stf-2. Also I'm located in canada so finding one may not be so easy but I think I'm going to be able to find a Toronto dealer.

Babalu,
I just ordered an HSU STF-3 from here...a Canadian retailer.
http://www.homedigitalav.com
I have the sub in the basement; it's on a carpeted floor though. I know HSU recommends throwing a rug at least under the sub for wood floors.
BTW, the STF-3 is a monster. I've heard you guys here talk about shaking and vibrating walls. I now know what you mean...this thing literally shakes the room. I now have squeaks and rattles that I never knew existed - have to fix. This is my first sub...didn't know what I was missing. It's GREAT!

Thanks for the tip; I just skimmed through the cd. I'll give that first track a full listen then.
