Well what do you guys think??
I can afford to upgrade one component and my current system consists of the following:
H/K AVR525
Axiom M22Ti (Mains)
Axiom VP150 (Center)
Ultimate Sound ST-1212 (Generic Sub) 150w
B&W CCM50 (in ceiling surrounds) 100w
I will replace either the surrounds with QS4/8's or the sub with an SVS PB10-ISD. But which should I do first, as it might be 6-12 months before I could up grade the other item.
Sony KF-50WE610
H/K AVR525
Axiom M22ti x 2
Axiom VP150 x 1
B&W CCM50 x 2
SVS PB10-ISD x 1

My first instinct would be to get the sub. Are you reasonably satisfied with your current surrounds?

Reasonably, Yes. From what I have hear about the QS line, they should make a noticable improvement as well. I actually have 4 of the CCM50's in the ceiling and disconnected the fronts when I got the Axiom gear. I see that prices are going up on Monday for the QS line, but the SVS already increased at the end of October. (after the pre-sale)

Thanks for the votes - Seems everywhere I ask, the sub is the overwhelming winner. Not a single vote for the QS line. Guess it makes that much of a difference in your setup. I have decided on the Outlaw LFM-1 instead of the SVS PB10-ISD however. HSU helped design it, it has a 325w BASH amp, and a 12" driver. Won't go as low as the PB10 but it looks like it will move more air - Room is 17x22x9.

Subwoofer output below 25Hz is overrated anyway. The deep rumbles and booms that we can actually "hear" in DD/DTS are above 25Hz. Its even less important in music playback. Whats more important in a sub is that it is able to play those bass frequencies at 25Hz and above cleanly and powerfully. I haven't heard the Outlaw sub but I bet it will fill the bill.

another vote for the PB10, better yet....get the PB12-ISD, either one will blow the LFM-1 out of the water in SQ and SPL.

I haven't heard the PB10......the LFM-1 has better sound quality IMO than the PB12-ISD.
