I remember Alan saying something about this... Something like there's a 1, 2, or 3 db difference in sound but no change in linearity on or off axis. Can't find the post.
Meaning, basically according to Axiom's tests there is NO difference.
On a side note I find the grill on the EP500 sufficiently rigid enough and fit snug against the cabinet. It must be the dimensions of the M60 that makes the difference
Cheers, Jag

I agree with what lomb7 said.
Jag: Is the grill frame on the EP500 plastic like on the M60's grills?

Yes MiniRock, they are plastic and the fabric appears as though it has been heat bonded to the plastic frame. I expect they are made similarily to Axioms other grills ( looks like it to me on the product pages) but haven't recieved my other speakers yet so I can't say for certain.
Cheers, Jag

EXACTLY, I was not saying it was major, I am also not opposed to improvement of a product or at least constructive critiism. That's the WORST thing I could find in the M-60's that's actully a compliment to the wonderful sound of the speakers. Just being as honest as I could. I think I already explained my thoughts on the priority of sound, in which I could not be happier. We agree (I think) on this subject. Jon
