nice component rack. why the 3 cd/dvd players, plus the mega changer? seems like overkill..
that has to be one of the more odd configurations i have seen for an HT. having the speaks centered on the fireplace, with the TV off to the right. but, it looks like a small room, and that was probably the best way to go with what you had. it almost seems like it would be better on the wall where the piano is, but then where would that go?? decisions, decisions...
thanks for posting..

Good point, one is just a single disc Sony, My wife and friends/kids use that one it's real easy. The other is just taking up space, I had not yet yanked it outta there, the other Yamaha is a 5 disc, DVD-A SACD, and with multi channel and other things, it's just easier for others to use the single disc sony, and probably SAFER for me. The last one is a multi 100 disc Sony is for music, and convience only, non-descrinating use, parties, etc.

You don't get stereo sound unless you don't look at the TV. My wife would have never allowed me to put so much in so little space.

You are exactly right. Back in 1924 when they built this house, they were not think of my HT needs!! The room is 11x22, but with large arches on each end, you are screwed!! some of the choices, most recently the 60s, before the price increase have to do with the home we are presently building. Great room will be 20x18 with 12 ft. ceilings. Yes it is the most challanging room I have seen
