nice setup Budsnaxz!

How big are the pictures your posting to photobucket? These seem very large, you might want to reduce the size of them before uploading.... I live in the country, and can't get DSL or Cable modem yet, so I'm still on dial up, yuck, anyway, I'm lucky if I get a 30KBPS connection, so I had to go pick up dinner while these pics were downloading...

Love the stuffed Shrek! Is he pulling double duty as a room acoustic treatment? Setup looks terrific and I bet it sounds awesome too.

Pssst! Your fridge is smiling.

I was just starting a good "ha ha your center is bigger than your TV" rant until I noticed you had M80s and QS8s as well.

I take it back. You spent your money in the right place. Looks like a great system and I agree with MWC it probably sounds fantastic. Enjoy !!

A new (big ass) tv is next on the things to buy list. I still have to finish paying off the loan for the stereo first.
We won Shrek in one of those fill out an entry blank contests from Walmart.
You all are right on the nose, the system sounds awesome!
Thanks for the compliments
Mac

Not being offensive, your setup is what I want if i have a larger room.
1. I personally don't like entertainment centers that wraps around tv

2. M80 has no space to breathe

Unfortunately, I live in military base housing right now (@900 sq ft) so I don't have a lot of leeway on the placement of stuff. I may be submitting my retirement papers (25 years) in next week because someone called me Friday and offered me a job in Tx. If so, you know I'll be buying a much bigger house with lots of space for the M80's to breath. That entertainment center will only be around until I buy a big ass tv. With all that said, the system sounds awesome now so it can only get better.

Yup! I lived in military housing too, so I know about the space issues you have. It was smart to get the system first so no matter where you move you have an awesome system to put in it.

The system looks great. I bet 80s REALLY rock a room that size.
Where in Tx. is the job offer?

MiniRock, you hit it right on the head. I did'nt want to have to worry about upgrading later so I went for the big boys. and yes it rocks the hell out of the living room

Bray, The job is in Tyler. I'm expecting a starting salary of around $50K. That coupled with a military retirement check of $2200 every month I should do ok.

Tyler is a really nice little town. Its in the piney woods of east Tx. Very pretty place to live. Only about 45 minutes from me.

So, just what are you hiding behind that black bar in the 2nd or third picture down?
