CircuitCity has the Harman Kardon AVR-135 on sale for $299. It has an on-screen display but no pre-outs except for a sub. I just picked one up for a second room. Seemed like a good deal to me.

I second Ray's advice. That's where I purchased my hk 230 in feburary this year. $289 shipped. Never had a problem with it, even though its a refurb.

I finaly got my reciever. I went with the Denon 1905. After much reading on the internet and talking to the local audio shops this seemed like it would be the right choise. Thanks for every bodies input. Now I just have to wait for Christmas. This was my gift from my wife
