which combo would be better for me--the m22+ep175 or the m60's? i listen to about 80/20 music/home theater and i have a 55 wpc onkyo. although the m22 and m60 have the same sensitivity (i think), common sense tells me that with a powered sub, i'll get more bass because the amp won't have to use as much of its power (it has an 80 and 120hz crossover).
am i right in thinking i'll be able to get more out of the m22's and an ep175 with my amp, or will i get the same volume and range of output with the m60's?

You are correct; the only question would be how significant the increased output would be. The Onkyo amps have big power supplies so your gain will not be as great as with other amps. Basically the volume before clipping will be increased because you have removed the low frequency demands from the Onkyo and transferred them to the EP175, which has more power.
