OP Huck hobbyist Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 28 Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada	Hi: I have an older(2000)Onkyo TXDS 777 receiver and was wondering about the THX Cinema listening mode. Seems that when this mode is selected, the bass and treble cannot be adjusted,"check setting" shows on the display.This is a THX-Select receiver, but why can't I use the tone controls?. I find that using this mode, the sound seems to be a lot "brighter"! Can somebody explain...maybe this mode is still being used on the newer Onkyo's?
