I've heard that a lot of those charities are unwilling to take on new people due to the expense/time it would take for training. This may be why you are having trouble.

bray-if you would like to load a truck,im moving into a new house this week and youre welcome here-ill get the pizza and COLD(for big john)beer-friends seem to forget where you live when this happens-thats awesome that you are looking to help,just keep your eyes open and something will come up because this relief effort is far far from over help will be needed for quite a while

oh yeah thats why i have not bought a pickup yet. also 2 years ago when i bought my dodge durango the salesman asked if i wanted a trailer hitch i said no. i just imagined my brother and whoever else wanting to borrow my truck to put there boat, jet skis in the water haul trash etc.

i own a full size pick up truck and a 14'box truck -every body thinks its a free u-haul...... ...maybe axiom could auction off a pair of 22s and donate the winning bid to the red cross.tax savings?..just an idea,i hope this doesnt make anyone at axiom mad for sugesting that

I was on Amazon a couple of days ago to order the Avia disc. They had a donation link on their main page for the Red Cross. I couldn't help but give as much to the RC as I spent on the disc, plus an additional $10.
