That's what it was looking like here in Boston Mark. Snow drifted almost halfway up the front door is what greeted me this morning. I could see the side view mirror of my car sticking out of what was otherwise a bump of snow. On the sidewalk, the snow was 23" this morning, I got out my tape measure. There was one drift out back that was well over my head, I jumped out of my 2nd floor bedroom window into it, which was kinda fun...

Well, I measured a depth of 22" on the deck in the backyard. Looks like it might be over. Forecast calls for an inch or two each day for the next few days.

That "inch or two each day for the next few days" must be lake effect, because we're pretty much out of the woods today (he says hopefully). Still colder than a well digger's knee, though. 10F degrees, at the moment. And if you wish to believe that "F" stands for Fahrenheit, I'll not say anything to dissuade you.

I thought it was over, but I looked out the windows 20 minutes ago and it is snowing again. I'll take it though. I like the snow. One of the reasons why I wouldn't want to live in some of those warmer weather climates. The change of seasons and the snow are preferable to me. If I want the warm weather during the winter, I can just go on vacation somewhere warm. I guess you warm weather people can go somewhere cold and ski, but it's not the same.

believe it or not fellas, we are supposed to get 2-4 inches of snow this afternoon and thru the night!! and there is a slight drizzle and sleet falling right now. the paper said it will be the first measurable snow in san angelo since new years day of 2002. my son is so excited, so hopefully he will wake up to a white morning.

i reckon he better enjoy it while he can, cause the high is supposed to be back in the 40's tomorrow. it will be melted by noon, if it even does it at all.

Here in Scottsdale, Arizona -- I'm attending a computer security conference here -- it's a mild 68 degrees, but it feels much hotter in the sun. Just had lunch outside. I think I might have even gotten a tan!
