that's funny Curtis, you didn't know who wrote it? It's actually Alan's January edition of the Axiom newsletter.

I don't know who wrote this, but my Dad sent it to me:

Oh, if the word curmudgeon is in it, Jack wrote it.

If I was going to go that big, I'd just stay with Front Projection. My Sanyo Z2 is 720p and HD tv at 120" screen is breathtaking, jaw dropping, mind blowing, ok you get the picture. Plus, if you ever need repairs, it is a lot easier to send a 12lb unit away, than a huge TV.

I will rise above these incessant insults from whippersnappers, like this one, who inhabit this place. I will merely send a large incendiary device to his home, with a label on the box reading. "Congratulations! You've just won a brand new Denon 8805!

I had my heart fairly set on a DLP set, but after taking measurements again, I could only fit a 52" or smaller tv on the stand between my M60's. However if I wall mount, I could go as large as 70"!

Anyone got a few thousand dollars they don't need?

It's a small world, huh Curtis?
People are always surprised to find we are not related. We look so much alike.
