not sure what "R-factor" is?
all i know, or remember was it was about 150F degrees up there, and only half my attic is planked. so there i am, my fat-a$$ stretched out over cross-beams, trying not to fall thru the ceiling. getting insulation up my nose, and in every body crevace it can sneak into. and its stickin to me like cotton candy cause i am sweating soooo bad. trying to find the holes i drilled up from underneath, yelling down at my wife to stick a clothes hanger up through so i can find the dang things. then, trying to untangle the wire cause it got all knotted up while i was slithering across the beams. then, dropping them down the hole, and go back down, only to realize i never marked which was the right or left wire.....
lets just say i had enough. i remember coming down and guzzling like three beers just to cool off.. only to have my wife(the biologist), remind me that alcohol facilitates in the dehydration process. SHUT-IT!!!!!!
