When I tried to hang my QS8s on the wall using the supplied "T" brackets I found that I wasn't able to hang the speaker on the bracket unless I first removed the hex bolt used for the FMB.
When I look in the hole it seems to open into the speaker enclosure, implying that there would be an air leak. I couldn't feel any air movement when playing the speaker, but it's not a very big hole so hard to tell.
Did anyone else have to remove the screw or am I just a clumsy speaker-hanger ?
Thanks,
John

in testing the hanging of my qs8 i had trouble with hitting the hex bolt but i just kept trying til i got it. maybe the way you have it screwed in is deforming the bracket itself.

I did not remove the bolt either. Maybe it's a bit lose and just needs to be tightend-up?

Wouldn't you know it... I put the bolt back in and hung it on the wall first try. It helps to know what is possible

The other side -- didn't have any Campbells Soup cans so had to use Habitant instead. Works mighty fine :

John,
you really should find some organically produced soup products. I've heard it can really improve the natural warm sound of the speakers.

I'm holding out for the whalebone and obsidan stands I heard so much about. Not many whales in this part of town though...

John,
What color are those QS8's?
I am trying to figure out which finish would go best in the new house...
Thanks,
