I got a great laugh out of a remark today and thought that I would start a thread where we could all get a laugh out of what we all say.

This thread is not to be used to insult what others say but rather is a place to laugh at the everyday, classic comments.

So, I will start it:

From: BigJohn
About: Remote Advice
There was a recomendation for the MX700 by Ray and then someone recomended the Harmony remote.

BigJohns response:
"is this kinda like cock-blocking, but with remotes?"

Stop it Ray, You know you're flaming mad right now cause I peed on your RX700 party....

Just kidding. Any animosity was completely projected. Liek I said, I just wanted to increase awareness about our other options.

Now, back to funny forum quotes....

Maybe we should start a new thread, since Ray and I and John have soiled this one already.

Wow... me, the Hall of Fame?

Good thing I had a speech prepared... or at least stole one from Dave Foley from Kids In The Hall...

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much! Thank you, I--I owe this honor to so many people. I--I'd like to thank...I'd like to thank my friend and manager, Ralph Himmelfarb... Thank you, Ralph. Um..um...the producers, Sid and Marty Sidmartinson for having faith in me, uh, thank you...uh, uh, I'd like to thank my director, Derek, I love you! Uh, and, and, and, and, and I'd like to thank Harold Reinhouse for his wonderful script, I'd like to thank him. I'd like to thank Hitler, and, and most of all, I'd like to thank my parents. Mom, Dad, this is for you!

Moi? My muse has been AWOL for quite some time, which I suppose means that whatever humorous effect I have had on you must be longer-lasting than a butt-print in a Tempur-pedic mattress.

In reply to:

Tempur-pedic mattress

geez, i am already doing a thread hi-jack, imagine that?

my wife and i have been waking up with soreness in our back, and we feel it is time to get a new mattress. the one we have is 8 years old, and has been flipped and turned till all the good spots are gone. so, anyway...

i was curious if any of y'all have purchased one of those select comfort type beds? the ones that are essentially large air bladders, and you can 'select' your desired firmness for either side of the bed. they seem like a great idea, but i have serious questions as to how durable and how long the bed will last.

if you have, or know someone that has one of thses beds, please post your thoughts or comments. i appreciate it.

The only draw-back I can think of, with an "air mattress" is:........sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

(By the way, B.J. I score that hijack a 9.5).

That is better than being peed upon by a waterbed mattress...
