Hi,
I am considering getting a couple of M22's for a 7.1 set-up. I listen to a lot of music in DTS Neo6 and with my current 5.1 set-up it sounds great.
Per numerous websites, DTS Neo6 should decode a 2 channel source into either 5.1 or 6.1 format, depending on the equipment. Has anyone had any experience trying this with the HK630. If I have a 7.1 set-up and it decodes to 6.1 will the 6th channel simply be a rear centre (promoting more vocals), or will it add from the whole spectrum of the album? Also, will it send the same "created" 6th channel to both of the rear speakers, and will it be the same?
I assume that since it is a 7.1 receiver it should not be a problem. I don't like assuming things though. Thanks for the help guys!

I can't speak for the 630, but I have DTS Neo6 on my Denon 2805 and I believe it sends the rear signal to both speakers, haven't tried it in awhile though...

I have the 630. No it won't give a separate or single back channel. The 2 additional "Rear" speakers will output the same thing at the exact same time with the scenario your describing. If you add speakers to the rear, I would advise that you just use 7 channel stereo or HK's own 7 channel decoding as it sounds much better...........best of all, it doesn't add a lot of junk to the source.....echo, delay etc etc.
