Yep, have them give Amie or Noreen a call and tell them where they auditioned the speakers with your name and screen name...you'll get a check in the mail.

Is it a check in the mail, or credit on future purchases?
Check in the mail = bonus.
I assume the checks go out only after the 30 day return period has expired.
I'm in the process of helping a friend buy a new system and she liked mine, so we're putting an "Axiom Jr." system together for her. That would be great if I could get her an extra 5% off (I'd give her the referal money, you see...)

Sirquack,
you'll definitely want to check with Axiom. However, you may find that they will not pay out the commission check if you're referrals have already received their speakers. It would be pretty difficult for Axiom to police this and, at the risk of giving unscrupulous people ideas, there would be nothing to stop you emailing everyone on the board that got new speakers, having them claim you referred them, and then splitting the 5% cheque between you. I would like to believe that Axiom owners would be above anything so dishonest, but it is possible.
Now I could also be way off base here and knowing Axiom, they would likely give people the benefit of the doubt.

Hey, Ray... Universal Remote Control is hiring... I was checking to see if it was publically traded.

Do we know if they actually have to audition or can it just be a referral? I spent probably a week talking back and forth via email, on my companies AV public board I am the moderator for....so no actual in home audition was done. Does this qualify? It may be to late for this one, as it was after the fact, don't know...Also, I have not yet added my name to the Audition list, as I don't have my new HT constructed yet....

Yeah, I wish they DID have some referral program for the MX-700 that resulted in $$$. Unfortunately, it's not just ONE place that sells them, so that isn't feasible. The real payoff for me is how happy folks are that get one.
I get abused (in a friendly way ) about touting the MX-700, but the only thing driving my passion for it is - it's performance.
I'm pretty sure everybody that finds just that one special thing that works fantastically for them in their HT mix feels the same way about that thing as I do about my 700. The nice thing is that, to a person here, everyone that has gotten one feels good about it.
Bren - it's interesting that you found that HTM job opening. I think I know why it exists. In the Home Theater Master forum and Remote Central, there is a "former" HTM tech that has shown up in the last couple of months. He seems to post a few times in each of the threads, offering (almost enough) advice. Invariably, he offers his help in setting up the remotes - at a fee. I'm not sure why the Mods let it continue, but it IS becoming annoying.
I'm just wondering how board denizens are using the MX-700 (and/or MX-500).

I will never buy an MX-700, as a matter of principle. And to re-assure myself that I can resist the irresistible.

And I think I've got the only female significant other that seems to have no problem whatsoever understanding the 4 remotes sitting on the coffee table.
In fact, the digital cable box also does a good job of controlling the TV so it doubles for both... *I* had to ask *her* how to use it to change to composite inputs on the TV. (I'd completely forgotten there are VCR controls under a hinged section on the bottom - TV/VCR changes inputs on the TV)
