now I'm getting 17.8kb/s with about 18.3mb done. I'm at work so that may have something to do with it, however, I download work related stuff from my software vendor at much greater speeds...oh well, it is almost done, then I can go home and work in the basement

Peter, I'm bailing out on your route. I installed DIVX, XVID, & the AC3 Codec. When I installed the first two, it would play, but w/ no audio. When I added the AC3 codec, WMP started generating errors and restarting. I might get more adventurous at home w/ this stuff, but going to stick w/ the easier route w/ the work computer.
Thanks Nik for posting the quicktime version. FYI...I'm seeing 19K/sec.

Turbo,
Did the AC3 Codec download as a .SIT file?
The links seem to point to the same file.

Peter and Nick. Thanks a ton! I am a big fan, but not fan enough to watch the OC for this.

My wife was addicted to the OC until we cancelled DirecTV. She tried watching it with the rabbit ear antennas, but the signal too poor for her to enjoy it.

Hehe. Who'd of thought something good would come from having to cancel DirecTV? :-)

Yes...Both the PC & MAC buttons aimed at the same .sit file. So, I dug around online and found another AC3 codec that had a .bat installation file w/ it. This was obviously the source of my problem. I just didn't feel like digging into why it was botched up while at work.

All I can say is.....wow.
After all of the incredible images in that trailer, I think the one that stands out for me is that of Mace Windu and several Jedi going to arrest the Chancellor. And the speed and viciousness of Darth Sidious response.
The dark side unleashed.....
