At more than twice the price of M80s, I'd hope the VA Mozarts are nearly twice as good.

I DO NOT recommend visiting the Vienna Acoustics website. It is Flash hell.

jimmy, stick it in your ear and go buy a HTIB.
chess, thanks for the heads-up on the MAs last year (or was it the year before?). They do not solve the "bad recording" problem, but they are nice. My wife had the incredible suggestion - as I was listening to some Jane's Addiction on the MAs, quite appalled to discover that Janes Addiction still sounded (sic) like sh!t on the MAs - "maybe that's just bad music." I hadn't considered that.
bigjohn, the M60s are likely going upstairs in the gameroom/bedtime-for-Jake-staging-area. The MA Bronze 2s that currently therein reside will likely get put up on ebay or see duty in the garage - not sure yet.
Chess, the Bronze 2s seem to have ALOT miore chesty mids than the Silver 8s. I did not notice the difference in the store when I made the original purchase for the B2s.
Did I miss anything?
Oh yeah. Tom, I believe smelly dog butt interferes with imaging on all speakers equally. Check with Alan for the definitive answer to that question.

As with subwoofers, having two small dogs on opposite sides of the room helps imaging while one large dog interferes with imaging. The smell is a constant, however.

Think "venison chili dog farts" ;(

You know, i have a real story about dogs and imaging.
I fell asleep not long ago, in front of the stereo while listening to music. Somewhere during my slumber the 130 pound monster dog decided to get up on the couch (front legs only) and stare out the window thus blocking the sound path from me and the right speaker.
I actually woke up b/c i noticed the dramatic drop in volume and thought my wife was turning off the music so i could sleep.
The moral of the story, a dense body in musical paths during peaceful slumbers cannot be tolerated.
Not a very profound moral but then again, the dog is 129.99 pounds of muscle and about 0.01 pounds of all the rest. Somewhere in there is brain matter.
