man, i'm surprised nobody's come up with this before. it's be a great idea; plus you could also do CD's with local bands, or mix it in with the faves.
Who's the more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?

Holy Crap! My mailbox is full of PMs! I feel popular again (like before the politics thread).

You might revise that feeling after you start getting a mailbox full of hippie music.

Yeah, please refrain from reciprocating with crappy music.
Thanks to everybody for expressing interest.
I'm having a hard time narrowing down my collection of faves to just one disc. I think the classical is going to get largely axed, as most of my faves are pretty long (sorry JohnK). I also decided not to include stuff that EVERYBODY has heard, but which is still very cool (The Who, Floyd, etc...).
And the first installment may be a little late being delivered - response has been overwhelming. I didn't realize there were so many polka fans out there!

You've inspired me to try and put together a disc as well. I've spent the last few days just kicking around song ideas to include. As you said, even though there are a great number of terrific songs, I don't want to make a mix disc full of stuff everybody has already heard. Whenever I finally get a mix finally settled on, I'll offer it up for free as well.

Thanks spiff. I've been wanting to hear that Propellor-head stuff you always rave about.

There'll definately be a track from them on there.
When I'm done, we can swap discs. I find a lot of new music I like from people who stop by to demo the axioms. It'll be cool to hear what some fellow Axiomites like to listen to.

Alright...the mix is done. Anyone who wants a copy just pm me. It's a pretty diverse mix, and I tried to shy away from the stuff you've likely ever heard on the radio. It was pretty hard to keep the track list down to a managable size...something that would fit on one disc.

Well, I'd offer a disc, but I might as well just make one and give it to Sid.
I definately don't have the same tastes as the classical, blues, c*ck rock and arena rock fans around here.

So Bigwill...should we let people know the playlist here on the boards or just send the list with the disc?
