Yeah, we've all heard it before. But my VP100 just arrived. I didn't even realize it was COMING yet! (I guess Jen is less excited about Golden Emails than I am, or she just missed it or something). Anyway, it's a custom color one (Vermont Maple, natch) that we ordered about a week and a half ago. 5.1, here we come!

Whew... lemme tell you, when I bought the M50s less than a year ago (!), I didn't expect to go surround sound for at least 5 years. But here I am... I should say we are, since she now owns quite a bit of the system.

he can keep the workshop.. i just want the furniture he makes in it!!
BTW- i have been contemplating trying to build a poker table. all of my poker buddies have expressed interest in having one, so i reckon i might give it a shot. i still need to get a few more wood working tools, but i think its totally dooable. i reckon i will give the first 2-3 away, and just charge for the cost of materials, and that will be my learning curve.. by the time i make 5 or more, i should be prety darn good at it, and then i will make one for myself!!

I've been thinking about doing the same thing. It has to be collapsable, sturdy and splinter free.

It's certainly about time. I was extremely impressed with the VP 100 when I got mine. Can we now say 5 channel stereo or DPL2 for music?

We can say DTS:Neo6, but not DPL2 or 5 channel stereo.

Yea NEO rocks and its pretty much the only setting I use. The rest sound like crap.
