I don't know if this is the proper forum for this question,but I tried Head Fi and got no response.I use a Rega Ear head amp to power my Sennheiser 650 headphones.The Rega uses a simple adapter as a power supply.I happen to have a Creek obh2 upgraded power supply that fits the Rega.The problem is that the Rega manual states that only a Rega power source should be used with their equipment.I'm wondering whether this is simply hype and whether the obh2 will make any improvement in the sound of the Senn.650.I,m afraid to try it because of Rega's warning.Does any body have any ideas about this?

As long as its the same voltage and current rating i dont see any problems. DC is DC.
