Wasn't sure where to post this question....
Anyways, how do these attach to the vp-150 and QS8's? I'm assuming there's a little thing on the back of the speakers that connect to the bracket?
I'm hoping there is no drilling holes into speakers method.

newf,
Axiom has included mounting bolts on all their center and surround speakers for over a year. Just unscrew the bolt from the back of the speaker and use it to attach to the full metal bracket. See the mounting instructions here.

If you just want to mount the QS8 flat on a wall they come with a flush mounting bracket. The FMB would, however, allow for hanging the speakers from the ceiling or something similar.

thanks guys. Is there any other advantages to getting the brackets? It looks to me like the QS8's don't really need to be "aimed" like traditional bookshelves would. Putting them flat on a wall, and with their design sending sound in all four directions, I would think the sound field is quite good as is.
Is there any benefit to "aiming" them at all?
How far up the wall is too high? How far away from side walls and ceilings should the qs8's be?

I used a FMB for my VP150 since I was mounting it above my 104" screen and I wanted to direct it down a little towards the listening area. Works great. As for my QS8s I just used the mounting brackets that came with it and mounted them flush on the wall a few feet above the seated heads of those in the listening area, and I put mine a good amount to the right and left of the listening area because my couch is up against the back wall, and I wanted to get the largest sound field possible. You can see what I mean at my web site (see the link below)...
Unfortunately, my web site is being moved to a new server, so its new IP address has not propagated across the internet yet, so it is currently unavailable right now, but should be back up on Monday.
