In that case try
1. Michael McDonald "Motown" (not crazy about the motown sound, but this SACD was well done.)
2. Alison Krauss+Union Station "New Favorite"
3. Any of the Elton John SACDs (All produced by Greg Penny who in my opinion does the very best SACD mixes)
4. And of course Pink Floyd "Dark Side Of The Moon"

I popped in Dark Side of the Moon last night. Turned off the lights, and at one point jumped in my seat, as a man ran past behind me.
Then I put in a Diana Krall cd and completely relaxed.
Great stuff. Too bad the record industry is so scared of pirates that they've made SACD a pain in the a$$ to operate. Just let the 5.1 mix and hi-rez mix output through the optical cable like everything else! What a pain in the tushy.

Two really good SACDs you might wanna check out--if you're into guitar music--are Jeff Beck's 'Blow By Blow' and Satriani's 'Strange Beautiful Music.' 'Blow By Blow,' especially, is one of the best I've heard. On a lot of songs the solo guitar is right behind your head, like you can turn around and grab it.

That part with the guy running scares the hell out of me too. I know it's coming but I always forget when and always get scared.

If you are a fan of acoustic guitar, try out either of the Los Angelas Guitar Quartets SACD discs on Telarc.

I picked up a Sony SCD-CE775 yesterday from my electronics shop. Free of course. It seems to have some problems playing cd's and cd layers but i bought a couple of SACD's today to pop in there, Sting "brand new day" and James taylor "flag"
The player seems to play SACD layers great, and the sound really seems to be pretty good. So far im only listening to them through my headphones and headphone amp but i cant wait to get my system setup again and put this thing in 5.1 mode. Now is when i wish i had a HT system. Im gonna really have to pegleg together 5.1 channels
So far i give SACD the thumbs up

Haoleb,
remember that you can play all SACDs in Stereo on your M80s. You just need to change a setting in your DVD player to read the stereo layer instead of the multi channel
And I second the Elton John SACDs. I have every one, my favorite being Honky Chateau. Honkey Cat is by far the best sounding piece of music I have ever heard on my Axioms. Just pure WOW demo material. I love to put it on when people come over. Those Elton John recordings make me wonder what the $#!% current music recorders/mixers are doing? I mean they are the cleanest pieces of music I have ever heard.
I would also recommend John Mayers Heavier Things. It just sounds incredibly clear and has very smooth, punchy bass for your sub.
Don't forget DVD-Audio, though. There are some excellent releases out there from Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, Steely Dan, and the Grateful Dead.

Do a search for Greg Penny.
I had found an article by him about 5 months ago explaining his technique for mixing the Elton John SACDs. It was very interesting and made a lot of sence.
However I havent been able to find it again.
