So I'm moving today. All my HT stuff except for the 51" TV is already there, and I'm just dying to set up my HT system. I bought 40' of Axiom speaker wire and 20 banana plugs to make everything easy to setup (wiring for surrounds is already in-wall).

Any tips or tricks for setup?

I naturally want a good accoustic/visual arrangment.

Think of it as something you will play with, rather than as a task you have to complete in order to enjoy the system. The setting it up part can actually be kind of fun. If possible, depending on how hard it is to get to the back of your receiver, get some tunes going through your front speakers as soon as possible...

For the install - small, nimble child-like hands. Perhaps a 6-10 year old pianist.

Bren, is that a hockey reference?

I don't think we're helping Jordan very much with his question

Saint, got any pictures or floorplans or specific questions or anything? I mean, I try to have a beer handy when doing most household tasks, but other than that, I'm not sure what you're looking for.

I hope you'll enjoy your new home.

I had a great team to assist in the set up of the twins, but not sure if they travel out of state.

I travel out of state semi-regularly on business, and am always game for a home visit. The catch is you need to live near where I work.
