Hello all,

Was looking into a seperate stereo amplifier for just my front M22s, then I realized I have two output speaker connectors in the back of my HSU sub. Can I use the Bass Amp to power the M22s? If I can, where should I connect the two input binding posts on the sub to? Thanks much.

I don't think so. Those are probably line outs for older receivers or amps which don't have a preout for the sub. You can connect the speaker outputs from your amp or receiver to the subwoofer instead of the speakers. The sub has a xover which will direct lower frequencies to the sub's amp and direct the rest of the output to the speaker terminals you're looking at. You then connect speaker cables from those output jacks in the sub to the speakers and voila.

Peter, as 2x6 indicated, what you're considering wouldn't work. The speaker level outputs you mentioned have nothing to do with the amplifier in the sub; if you had connected your receiver/amp to the sub with speaker wire rather than a line level coaxial connection those outputs would feed the receiver/amp power straight through to the speakers(full-range, no filter to speakers on the Hsu).You haven't indicated why you'd even be thinking of a separate amp for the M22s; unless your present equipment is very low-powered or your room is huge, a separate amp shouldn't be needed.
