Just got the stink eye from you know who, wondering why anyone would be up at this hour of the AM reading forums on the web! (3:00am PDT) I placed my order Yesterday 5-8 M60s, vp150, qs80s, ep500. Had been looking at speakers for sometime, came across axiom site 6 days ago & made my choice. Awsome reading all these posts. Just looked into forums earlier tonight, havn't stopped reading since. Will be purchasing the Sunfire Ultimate Receiver II (200w rms x 7) on Tues. 5 years ago (give or take) I bought a HTIB setup, 6-8 weeks & I was more than ready to upgrade. With a small budget & a GOOD connection running one of the local audio stores & knowing NOTHING about HT I upgraded to JBL ND310s JBL N28s S-Series Center all Northridge, didn't keep the JBL sub very long replaced with Sunfire little Junior. Harmon Kardon AVR 500 80w x 5. I'm hoping it will be like the change from AM to FM, Cassett to Disc, Koolaid to Beer, Dialup to Broadband.Well, gotta hit the sack. Any input from the Axiom owners out there on this setup would be awsome. I'm pretty sure i will be more than happy, but you own'em & i don't. Thanks.
TO JUDGE IS TO HAVE BEEN SENTENCED.

Welcome aboard!
I recently purchased a VP-150 and am very pleased with it. I also purchased a pair of M80s yesterday so you and I are in the same boat, waiting.
I believe that we will both be pleased with our purchases.
I'm going to look and see if I can find some information about your Sunfire receiver. That is a brand name that I don't recognize, but that doesn't mean anything. Actually, it means nothing, whatsoever.
In a while, I will be in the market for a new receiver, but am looking for one of the software, over the net, upgradable receivers. Don't want to buy it and six months later find out that there is an A, B or C version.

Well, looks like we've got a volunteer for that coveted overnight moderator shift.
Welcome aboard.
You're going to love your new speakers. I've not listened to the JBL's in my home, but have heard them in stores. My belief is that the Axioms are much tighter, more accurate and transparent.
I will enjoy reading your impressions and seeing your pictures after you get a chance to wipe the smile off your face.

You bopped in here, read all the posts, got all the information you needed from the web site and made an intelligent decision all on your own!!
You didn't even give us a chance to impress you with our rapier wit and supreme knowledge first hand!
Not one Posse got a single shot off!
Dang it. Ultimate Bummer!

Before i got my M80's i had the ND310's I think you will really enjoy the axioms, and the fresh clear sound they bring compared to the jbl's muddy and laid back sound. For me it was like taking a heavy blanket off the speakers.

From your post I thought at first that you had ordered
5 to 8 M60's!
I thought we had a mini-Tharkun in the making!
Then I realized it was just the date.
Oh Well, you'll love them even if you only bought two!
Heh, heh, heh...
Enjoy.
