Hi, I just recently bought m22's for my home theatre and i would like to up grade to a tower because I have the fear that my kids and the dog might destroy them.(darn kids...got-a love them...lol)I was wondering what advantage's or disadvantage's there would be to any one who has the chance to hear them both. thank you...

Hi Pipy,

The M50 doesn't have as much midrange and upper octave detail and clarity as the M22ti or M60ti, although it does have more than the M40 and M3ti, which are both quite laid-back in the mids and highs.

In terms of midrange articulation, I'd place the M50 about halfway between the M40 and M60 (or M22ti). Naturally it has greater low bass extension and output than the M22ti.
