Did you not catch the three winks by my post? Come one guys, stop taking stuff so seriously around here.

I have never once come out and said MA is a better speaker then Axiom. I may or may not think it, but I have never posted it here.

If you think it, you should post it. We're all open minded. I just sent a poster looking elsewhere for a particular product. Slap my face

his advice to TNT to go with MAs was not a statement that they're "better", but better suited for guys with tinnitus apparently.

Hey! I have tinnitus in my right ear. I was once a soundman for a regional country rock band. I must've been a lousy one or I wouldn't have tinnitus.

I'm reasonably good at being able to ignore things over which I have no control. So, with very rare exception, my tinnitus doesn't ever bother me. I've just kinda learned to not pay attention to it, thankfully.

If you pay attention to it you'll go nuts.

The M3's, M22's and MA B3's all sound pretty good to my tinnitus hearing. My preference finally landing on the M22's.

TNT - I find it interesting you say you have tinnitus in only one ear. I wouldn't describe mine as being in one, the other or both ears for that matter. For me it is in my head between my ears or slightly back of the centre line. I definitely associate it with hearing but not my ears. It's a "in my head thing". I wonder how much it varies amoung afflicted people or maybe I've got something else going on.

A couple of thoughts.

Another family squabble. Another reason this board feels so much like home.

I had no idea this many people have tinnitus and how many different ways you can get it. My dad got it (he believes) when he was hit really hard on the head when he was a kid . The dealer I bought my MAs from got it from circumstances relating to getting his scuba certification. I always thought of tinnitus coming from extremely loud noises over extended periods of time. Sounds like you can get it in a variety of ways as well as how it is manifested. For me it is definitely perceived as directly coming from my left ear.

And Bigwill....I was just razzing you.
