This is the question and comments section of the board, but it also a watercooler of sorts. Many off topic stuff about everything from movies, dogs, career advice, Canadian slang, beer, dangerous hawks, confessions, Best Buy employees, Canadian vs. American plumbing, you name it is is represented here. Could it be renamed Questions, comments, and miscellanous? Or something along those lines? Something more than just questions and comments.
Not a big deal just thought it might be more appropriate. What do you think?

Agree, many newbies don't look here first when wondering about Auditions in their area. Maybe call it "Check This Forum out first before you do anything"

BTW- have you watched fight club in a while with the ability to crank up the volume..? man, it has some SUPER LFE's that i wasnt even aware of until someone turned me on to them. there are at least 4-5 scenes with great sub tests. check it out!!

i had no idea about the LFE, nor have i heard of it from anyone before now. honestly, i haven't watched the flick since i got my axioms last november, but i've got 7 days off starting tomorrow (gotta love my rotating shift work schedule) so i'll have to devote a little time tomorrow to it!

I think a poll would be a good idea. Not that I dont like "The Water Cooler", but I think maybe we could throw around a few other ideas.
I do think its a good idea to direct all noobs here though, ESPECIALLY to the Audition thread.

I happen to like The Water Cooler. Everyone knows that 'watercooler' conversations are idle chitchat on no particular topic - it's very clear and to the point.
On The Dock is charming, but it's less clear what the board's purpose is from the title alone.

Some of the copy that I have to set really makes you shake your head... recently one of my favorites was Ideal Drugs (so does that greasy kid on the corner of Main!)... also, "Walking in Two Worlds" conference by Dr. Martin Brokenleg (wouldn't that be hobbling in two worlds?)... and a layout that put "A HOLE IN ONE!" sale for a golf pro shop right beside a story on a shooting (he had a few holes in one!).
Sometimes you just don't want to say anything...
