I am close to taking the plunge on an Axiom purchase. Due to budget (and spousal) restraints, I have had to piece my system together. I have an A/V receiver, DVD/CD player, and flat screen TV. Now comes the hard part -- speakers!
If my initial purchase is floor standers - say M50s or M60s, what would be the next logical purchase: a subwoofer, center channel or surrounds? Which component would give me the most bang for the buck?
Thanks!

Surrounds.. It's the only part you can't really duplicate.. Those towers would give you some good bottom end, and the Phantom setting on your AVR would give you a center..
LFE ! The rest is just details..

I agree with MIKEY, get surrounds and use the phantom center until you can get one. Also, you can get decent bass performance without a sub.
I would stay away from the M50's and get the M60's. They're really that much better and don't cost that much more. It is many persons opinion that the M60's are the best Axiom speakers out there.
