While I am not sure this is effective...it may actually work, and for a lower cost. hmmmmm. Something to think about.

No apologies necessary. I just learned how to post a link a few days ago. This is how you do it. Type [*url=http://www.hackaday.com/entry/1234000967044405/]Link[/url]
Just omit the asterisk in front of the url and your good to go. Remember, the preview post function is your friend.

My pleasure. Now if you want to get fancy you can change the word Link to anything you want. For example, These aren't Your Mama's Cables'

CAT5 actually work rather well. I've compared them to my Audioquest Slate $500/pair and Kimber 4TC $200/pair and I and the rest of my friends couldn't tell the difference. I have been using them in my system for about a year.

I now use pre-war Canadian pennies (odd years only) soldered end to end. Not very flexible but fully supportive of the Axiom, Northern Ontario sound. Anything else is just inadequate.

i made some of these myself several years ago and tried it out on M3's and M22's. The sound was just as good as with my regular 12ga.
