I don't have a problem with mixed solid wood and plywood. It's pressboard that's the problem...

There’s no such thing as good plywood anymore. Cabinet grade 9 or 11 ply 3/4” even sucks. Can’t even sand it without cutting through the top layer. I still use it on some projects, but have become very discouraged and leery about using it anymore. I’d rather use MDF with a Veneer overlay than plywood. And I absolutely will not, no way in hell use plywood for structures. [censored] delaminates and warps at the very hint of rain. OSB is all I use now.

Thanks for the link. I really like the idea of the swiveling one, but the capacity is too small. I would like to find some kind of system that would fit in my bedroom with the HT.
