Thanks! I have what I would call "medium" speed internet and my pics were HUGE! About ~ 10MP! I resized the pics to about 1/4 their original size and it worked great.

very nice, I bet those pictures in the back corner shelves vibrate a little with that 500.

I am sure the pictures get their share, I would be more worried about the lamp on the 500. I bet you got to move it back in place after every movie.

I like the "stealth" of the surround!
Also, did you consider running the Merak sub in addition to the EP500 just to even out the bass response in the room for movies?

I agree Tom, I would definately daisy chain that sub into the equation, can't have enough good bass.

Thank's for the comments. The EP500's performance is lightyears above that of the old Merak. Do you think it would still be of some benefit? I'd be afraid that it would introduce distortion before I would be able to hear it make a difference.
I guess it never hurts to try. No harm in that.

Hey the pictures are working, your place looks great!
80's, I had an older version EP350 that stayed in a storage closet thinking my son would move out and take it with him, he never moved out and upon suggestion of a couple of folks here I incorporated it into the room with our 600 and was very pleasantly surprised to find out it played very well with the 600 and sounded quite nice in the room, made for a better overall flatter room response.
Seems to me like it really accentuates some of the mid bass soundtracks whereas the 600 covers the very low end stuff.
Give it a try, it certainly won't hurt, and report back!

Yes, do try the old Merak sub, but you may find it add little if anything to the FR, my old sub adds absolutely nothing to the FR curve, it is that weak and the PB13 that strong, I will have to graph it to make sure but I certainly couldn't tell it was on.
