I currently own a Denon 3805 receiver and a pair of B&W bookshelf speakers. I am planning to buy the Epic 60 theater system piece by piece. What is the best order of purchase? I was thinking M60s first, then center followed by surrounds and subwoofer. Any thoughts.

just fyi you receive 5% off if you order five pieces at once. plus if you order from factory outlet you can save another 5%. maybe your budget can not handle this but i figured it was worth a mention.

Your plan looks pretty good, although if you're a a bit of a bass nut then you might want to swap the sub and surrounds order. If being surrounded by the sound is more important to you than feeling it in your chest then you should be fine with your original plan.
I'm in a similar situation, although with different parts. My plan is to go 3 M3's across the front first, followed shortly by an SVS 20-39 PC+. That way I have pretty much the full frequency range covered for the channels that are used most often. After that I plan to add M80's as mains and kick the M3's to the rear, eventually replacing them with QS8's.
M3's(LCR), Onix X-Sub, Marantz SR5200

Welcome, depending on the size of your room and if you are a big movie watcher, I would start with the M60's followed by the sub (use the 60's to phantom the center) If you listen to more music I think what you have planned would be great.

Greg, another welcome. Definitely the M60s first if the budget requires stretching things out(use the B&Ws for side surrounds if you're keeping them). The M60s can do a "phantom" center and an actual center speaker can be further delayed, so my suggestion for the second buy would be QSs for side surrounds(switching the B&Ws to back surround)which are excellent both for 5.1 movie material and two channel music ambience steered to them with DPLII. Third, I'd suggest the sub.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.

I'm doing a similar deal.
I bought the M60s first.
Next I plan to buy the EP500.
Then the Q8s and finally the VP150.
Was difficult to decide whether to buy the EP500 or Q8s first. I'm doing a lot of work including new floors in the house so I'm thinking I might be able to lay the wire for the Q8s later when its time to do the floors.
Love my M60s.

Just to confirm what Jake mentioned, the Factory Outled is 10% off, then you also get the same 5% in addition if you buy 5 or more items, not bad...
