Hi all, I am new here. I am planning on purchasing the M22ti, VP150, and QS8. I have read somewhere that the M22Ti and VP150 do not timbre as close as some would like. anybody who owns these two please let me know your opinion. Thank you!

I have the same system with an M2i in the back. The M22Ti and the VP150 share the exact same 1" tweeter and 5 1/4" woofers. I cannot see how any speakers could be better matched, unless you got 3 M22Tis and put one behind a mesh screen with a front projector...Maybe 3 M80s would be a better idea...louder, bigger, better matched

I purchased the exact same system; M22ti/VP150/QS8. The reason I got it is b/c of what Highland 121 said; the M22 and VP150 use the same mids/tweets.
It doesn't get more perfectly matched than that.

Yeah, I do not know where you read that, it is widely known that the VP150 and M22 are a great match.
