I'm looking to put a small sytem down in the master bedroom for TV and music with some of my leftover speakers, 3 channel for now.
Any suggestions on a AV receiver in the 200.00 and below range. Will be matched with a Denon 2200, the lower the profile the better. Thanks

I've always thought that the Onkyo 50n series was a good value for the money. I don't own one but they seem very feature-rich for the price, and I've not heard of any QA problems.

Check out this little guy, the Onkyo TX-LR552. It's so modern and sleek looking and definitely low profile. So far, the reviews have been good. It's $199...just what you're looking for!

Hello HomeDad - if I were getting an inexpensive HT receiver, there is only one I'd consider. The Panasonic SAXR 25, 45, 50, 70. Is that more than one? Same basic receiver. Can be had for under $200. 2 channel sound quality is superb, and you have 3-4 more channels depending on which model you get!

G'luck with your choice.

I think when it comes time to replace my Onkyo TX-DS575 -- which has been fantastic for me through the almost 6 years I've had the thing -- I'll try digital. I'm not one to really push my speakers or equipment anywhere near their limits, so I think digital will fit my tastes and wallet quite well.
