Hello, I recently bought a used Axiom 61 and it worked perfectly on ableton when I brought it to my friends house. After bringing it to my house, hooking it up, downloading the appropriate driver, and restarting my laptop, I noticed that the display would only respond to input from pads, knobs, etc. and no longer the keys. I tried to change my preferences in Ableton to find a way to get input, but that didn't work. I reset the keyboard by holding +/- while turning on the keyboard. After getting a usb c to b cord, I was able to hook the keyboard up to my phone and play it through a midi app, but that's the only way I've been able to produce sound myself. I've taken a video with the hopes that that'll help clear up any potential confusion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lO9t73G0D2c (sorry for the shit video) Thanks in advance for your brain power

I suggest you trade that in for these. It will sound so much better! https://www.axiomaudio.com/omnidirectional-speaker

Hi Alphonso, You might get lucky with an answer here, but this forum is actually for Axiom Audio speakers, not M-Audio keyboards. Looking at M-Audio's support options I found the following forum... https://getsatisfaction.com/m-audio... and some other support options: https://www.m-audio.com/supportHope you find an answer.

I still think a trade-in for LFRs will bring him more pleasure than that keyboard.

Of course according to Mattmanhasgonebutisback, LFR1100s are an incremental improvement over M3s so you're apparently a total dork for buying LFR1100s, John. Ahahahahaha! My gut is still sore from that one.

Perhaps is is becuase I have not bought the correct $2000 power cable, and put in medical grade power plugs with the correct $10,000 speaker cables that will make it just sound that much better.
But if you want to quote properly, The jump that you will get from going with a set of old Cerwin Vega to a pair of M3's will be much larger than what you will get going from a pair of M3's to a set of LFRs.

Aye...that is a much better way of stating the benefit. Agreed it is about moving to v4 rather that what kind of v4. Ian was telling me that for at least a year and I was wondering why he was speaking in riddles. Then I got the M3, M5 and M100 and after hearing all three, I instantly knew what he meant.
You can buy the most inexpensive speaker in the family and you will hear the same soundstage as the M100 (I don't know about LFRs because I have never heard them). As you move up the line, the improvements are better clarity throughout the entire audible band, improved image focus, larger images, higher dynamic power (macrodynamics), greater microdynamics and increased dispersion leading to a wider soundstage.
It really is quite an amazing acoustical engineering achievement. I don't know if anyone else in the speaker world offers anything like this.
