So, in my earlier audio days, I would let guests run rampant with the volume.... I didn't know better. I've learned since then and now have an AVR with a max volume governor.
Now if I'm not around, no worries.
Anyways, the result of clipping is well known. Damaged tweeters usually. But what does clipping sound like? Here is a song I think gives a similar experience to what a clipping system sounds like. But in this case, you need not suffer high volumes or stress your system to hear the effect. The effect is caused by distortion in this track.
