I basically agree with Trevor ... If I had your restrictions I'd mount to the ceiling. That is actually probably a better location than the floor as 5.1 surrounds are for ambient sound (a generalized location which has no exact point it's coming from) ... i.e. somewhere to the left/right or everywhere. Being above you I think helps with that. |
