Hi friends, been an axiom fan since I picked up my first pair of M3s in 2010 but this is my first post to the forum

I recently inherited a now discontinued EP400 sub that was DOA. Opened it up and saw that one of the circuit boards had damage from what looks like a burnout. Trying to keep costs low for repair so hoping someone can help either identify the IC that has been burnt beyond recognition, or has a schematic for the circuit (Axiom were super helpful with providing a photo but the IC was unmarked on their version).

Think that is the same amp board that’s in the ADA1000. If so then best guess … IRS2092 …. Note more then that chip is blown …

Thanks @rrlev that's exactly the info I needed! I appreciate your help Yes indeed there are other components fried but thinking I may have enough info from pictures to piece it together. here's the image they sent me for reference.

@rrlev hoping you or someone could give some insight here, I've marked the components I think I'll need to replace with values derived from what I can make out from the photo provided by Axiom - hoping to verify the values. note the capacitor value from their photo doesn't match the value on the board I have - not sure I should replace both caps to match the photo they provided or match the existing value?

I don’t really have a board accessible to look at. I had a problem with an my Ada1000 and opened it to take a picture for Andrew W. (To double check its wiring). While it was open I took a quick pict with a mirror to satisfy my curiosity on what chip they were basing this amp on. I’m pretty sure the amp is not too far off from the reference design of this chip. I’d start there.

P.S. on your board the ‘A’ side amp is not populated… I’d ring that out and compare it to the ‘B’ side just to make sure all your traces are still intact… have fun …
